Как сообщили в ГУ МВД по Петербургу и Ленобласти, около полудня на 220-м километре дороги "Кириши - Лодейное Поле - Тихвин - Будогощь" Citroen съехал в левый кювет и врезался в дерево. Судя по кадрам с места аварии, удар пришелся на крышу иномарки Citroen Picasso. Она буквально впечатана в салон.

Водитель иномарки скончался на месте ДТП, двое пассажиров госпитализированы с травмами. Личности погибшего и пострадавших устанавливаются.
