На деле вместо красивого расхода в 720 снарядов на ствол пиковый расход доходил до 2557 штук (в 1-ом Сибирском армейском корпусе).
P.S. И о наболевшем: после боёв Ляояном, на реке Шахэ и под Мукденом полевая артиллерия оставалась вообще без снарядов, а никакущее снабжение не давало возможности вовремя пополнять запасы. А потом с дивана стратеги рисуют, как они бы япошек били, не то что эти тупые генералы.
