Посмотрите, какая красота сейчас в Каменном городе, что в Пермском крае. Мечтаю добраться до этих причудливых скальных башен (останцов) уже который год. По легенде, здесь жил мифический народ – чудь белоглазая. О нем Александр Блок писал: «Чудь начудила, да меря намеряла гатей, дорог да столбов верстовых». Легенд вокруг Каменного города много. По одной версии, там произошла какая-то катастрофа: то ли на город обрушился ледник, то ли виноваты сейсмические толчки, из-за которых часть скал ушли под землю. Самая вероятная гипотеза состоит в том, что уникальный природный рельеф образовался в русле реки, которая протекала здесь миллионы лет назад. Вода пробила подобие арок и улиц по 80 метров в длину, а потом река высохла, оставив загадочный ландшафт. Как бы там ни было – это прекрасно…

Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
