На соискание премии в этом году была зарегистрирована 591 заявка от авторов из 55 стран мира. В короткий список «Русской премии» включены 13 произведений авторов из одиннадцати стран.
В коротком списке — финалистка XVIII сезона «Большой книги» Хелена Побяржина с романом «Валсарб» и полуфиналист этого сезона Даниэль Бергер с книгой «Кофе с перцем».
