Как отмечает издание, бывший глава альянса признал, что у европейских стран сейчас слишком мало оружия, техники и военнослужащих, находящихся в состоянии высокой готовности к потенциальному конфликту.

«Мы знаем, что отстаем [от России], - сказал он. - Не могу сказать точно, сколько нужно потратить денег [для того, чтобы компенсировать отставание]. Но могу сказать с уверенностью, что если союзники собираются реализовать все, что они обещали, <…> это обойдется в гораздо большие суммы, чем 2% ВВП, будь то 2,5% или 3%».

По словам Столтенберга, в Москве также знают об этом положении вещей. Отвечая на вопрос, что вызывает у него наибольшие сожаления после ухода с поста генсека альянса, Столтенберг заявил, что НАТО нужно было раньше начать передавать Украине летальные вооружения.

Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm.
