18 декабря 2022 года, он управляя грузовиком «Мерседес-Бенц Актрос 184», выехал на встречную полосу на автодороге «Иртыш» и столкнулся с «Ладой». В результате аварии погибли родители и их двухлетний сын.
Несмотря на попытки подсудимого избежать ответственности, прокурор предоставил неопровержимые доказательства его вины.
Суд приговорил водителя к 6 годам колонии-поселения и лишил прав на 2 года 6 месяцев.
Также работодателю осуждённого придётся выплатить потерпевшим более 9 миллионов рублей.

Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred."
