Ахматова и Павлова стали героинями одноактных балетов: первый поставил ‘классик’ Юрий Посохов, второй — ‘современник’ Павел Глухов. С поэтической версией у меня не случилось химии. Симбиоз декламации, музыки Сезара Франка и танца не сработал, балет вышел сухим и чересчур академичным. Второй же — виртуозный, наэлектризованный хореографическими метафорами и иронией. В это кабаре уместились все мужчины великой балерины. Порочный алый занавес стал дверью в иной мир, откуда появляются хоть артисты, хоть огромный слон, хоть мчится на зрителя поезд. Но кульминацией действия был не он, а танец умирающего лебедя, который размножили на шесть Павловых. Глухову местами по-линчевски удалось тонко передать, как век балерины короток и хрупок, а музыка Ильи Демуцкого для меня уже давно отдельный вид удовольствия.
