The task is to redesign the Telegram chat screen and attachment menu on Android. To take part, send one or more PNG documents with the redesigned chat screen to @design_bot. In addition, send a video document demonstrating how you envision the redesigned attachment menu should work (with an emphasis on sharing photos and videos).
We will look for simplicity, usability, consistency when judging the results. If necessary, feel free to change all the colors of the chat UI, including the default background.
We’ll accept new designs up until the 24th of March. We’ll announce one or more winners (depending on the overall quality of mockups submitted) and distribute $15000 among the winners as prizes in the final week of March.

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. In the past, it was noticed that through bulk SMSes, investors were induced to invest in or purchase the stocks of certain listed companies. Telegram users are able to send files of any type up to 2GB each and access them from any device, with no limit on cloud storage, which has made downloading files more popular on the platform. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
