Все в жизни чего-то стоит, и важен не сам факт потери (о чем все как правило переживают), а конкретно её стоимость. И если это те деньги или статусы, которыми можно сыграть, то почему бы и нет. Что вообще в этом мире можно сделать без риска и тем более бесплатно?
