C 2018 по 2024 г отражено 220 тыс. кибератак на информационную инфраструктуру. Об этом сообщил вице-премьер, руководитель аппарата правительства Дмитрий Григоренко на презентации нацпроекта «Экономика данных».
За указанный период 8 млн человек прошли курсы киберграмотноcти, заблокированы 150 фишинговых ресурсов, на 90% снизилось количество звонков с пойменных телефонных номеров.

Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. False news often spreads via public groups, or chats, with potentially fatal effects.
