22 сентября 2017 года спущен на воду первый серийный атомный ледокол проекта 22220 — «Сибирь»
Первый ледокол проекта 22220 — «Сибирь» — был заложен 26 мая 2015 года и подведен к спуску на воду в краткие сроки. Атомоход рассчитан на преодоление ровного льда толщиной 2,8−2,9 метров с устойчивой скоростью. Двухосадочный ледокол при глубокой осадке способен проламывать толстые океанские льды, при мелкой — работать в руслах рек.
Атомоходы проекта 22220 предназначены для замены судам типа «Арктика» (проект 10520), «Россия» (проект 10521) и «Таймыр» (проект 10580) — у них в 2020-х годах заканчиваются сроки эксплуатации.
Три ледокола проекта 22220 уже находятся в эксплуатации («Сибирь», «Арктика», «Урал»), один спущен на воду («Якутия»), два — строятся («Чукотка», «Ленинград»), еще один планируют заложить в 2025 году («Сталинград»).

The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.”
