В НИУ МЭИ создан термоэлектрический импульсный генератор, предназначенный для автономного энергоснабжения прибрежных объектов.
Энергетическая установка способна вырабатывать электроэнергию, используя разницу температур в водоемах. Для работы такой установки нет необходимости сжигать органическое топливо и строить плотины или мачты.
«Термоэлектрогенератор может быть применен в различных областях. Устройство подойдет для конструкций прибрежных электростанций, которые будут способны обеспечить электроэнергией небольшие прибрежные объекты, включая жилые дома, а также найти свое место в теплоутилизационных системах с побочной генерацией электроэнергии», – отметил проректор по науке и инновациям НИУ МЭИ И. Комаров.
