5 апреля на тот момент мэр Елани Александр Гугучкин в своем служебном автомобиле, припаркованном у местной администрации, получил от директора МКУ «Благоустройство» оставшуюся часть взятки в размере 20 тыс. рублей из ранее оговоренной суммы 100 тыс. рублей. Деньги предназначались для решения вопроса о незаконном использовании муниципальной техники и рабочей силы при перевозке песка для нужд местного предпринимателя.
