Пока я работала над анализом переименований улиц Владикавказа, собирала данные и классифицировала их, в глаза бросилось очевидное: в городе неуютно мало улиц, названных в честь женщин. Хоть это и не уникальная ситуация для российского города, захотелось ее визуализировать и побольше узнать про этих людей.
Итого:
⁃ В городе всего 8 улиц, названных в честь женщин (2% от общего количества)
⁃ Только три из них имеют отношение к локальной истории. Остальные - связаны с общенациональной памятью.

В связи с недавними новостями о том, что в честь первой осетинской летчицы Илиты Дауровой называли электроподстанцию, возникает вопрос: почему только электроподстанцию? И что стало с планами аж 2009 года дать одной из улиц города имя великого дирижёра Вероники Дударовой?

On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. Unlike Silicon Valley giants such as Facebook and Twitter, which run very public anti-disinformation programs, Brooking said: "Telegram is famously lax or absent in its content moderation policy."
