9 сентября на заседании Санкт-Петербургской избирательной комиссии выборы высшего должностного лица Санкт-Петербурга – Губернатора Санкт-Петербурга признаны состоявшимися, а результаты выборов — действительными.

На должность Губернатора Санкт-Петербурга избран Беглов Александр Дмитриевич, получивший 895 307 голосов избирателей, что составляет 59,80%, то есть более половины голосов избирателей, принявших участие в голосовании.

Явка на выборах высшего должностного лица Санкт-Петербурга – Губернатора Санкт-Петербурга составила 37,76%. В выборах приняли участие 1 507 313 избирателей.

VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” "The inflation fire was already hot and now with war-driven inflation added to the mix, it will grow even hotter, setting off a scramble by the world’s central banks to pull back their stimulus earlier than expected," Chris Rupkey, chief economist at FWDBONDS, wrote in an email. "A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth."
