Мир японской косметики и нынешняя книга про диджитал-арт познакомила меня с ещё одним труднопереводимым критерием японской красоты: 透明感 (to:meikan) кожи -- её прозрачность. То, что у азиатов ценится белоснежная кожа, все и так знают. Так вот, в идеале она должна быть не просто белой, но ещё и визуально тонкой и словно просвечивающей изнутри, как фарфор. В основном это достигается осветлением, но тут и текстура кожи играет роль. Смотри третью картинку.
