Каждый из них выступил перед депутатами и представил свою концепцию развития города.
Большинством голосов депутаты выбрали Евгения Боровских. Торжественную присягу он принесёт на сессии горсовета, которая должна пройти 10 октября.
Евгений Боровских родился в 1983 году в Липецке. Имеет два высших образования: юридическое (Воронежский институт МВД РФ) и экономическое (Кубанский государственный аграрный университет). До своего первого избрания мэром Ельца в сентябре 2019 года руководил управлением имущественных и земельных отношений Липецкой области.
