По итогам стратегической сессии Правительства было поручено разработать стратегии инженерных вузов, включённых в перечень университетов, которые обеспечивают подготовку инженерных кадров и научных разработок для технологического лидерства. Всего в перечень входит 38 университетов, стратегии двух из них уже утверждены. После учёта замечаний Минпромторга, Российской академии наук и доработки стратегий к началу марта все они должны быть представлены кабинету министров.
