How dramatic is this? I've cleaned-up this astounding glass plate photograph, which looks like a painting, taken in the Domaine De Pixérécourt in Malzéville, France, about 116 years ago. It's by one of my personal favourite proponents of the autochrome art, Julien Gérardin. This photo was taken in colour and isn't colourised.

The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting.
