Our all-time favorite, however (except the Barcelona and a few variations of the Director’s chair designed by Gold Medal Camp Furniture back in 1892) is a highly poetic interpretation of the Savonarola by Pierre Paulin. The chair was designed in 1982 and is commercially available from Ligne Roset.

We can’t wait to see what the 21st century will offer in the way of curule chair variations. There are some worthy of mentioning in this channel already.
