Именование Гибралтара «будоражит» меня довольно давно. Были мысли и про некий Altar (алтарь) и загадочный «Гибр», и про «Гидру». Однако, полагаю, как обычно, все намного проще. На днях постил картинку из старого (ок. 500-550 лет) гербовника. Там явно речь…

Еще немного сюда же. В целом, пожалуй, несколько раз добавлю — тема того стоит по ряду причин.

Интересно, что, официально, песня значится в списке произведений, созданных в тн «абсурдистском стиле», однако, это один из прекрасных способов заложить «базу» на десятилетия и сказать одним словом сотню. Этакая словесная живопись.
