После выпуска So Far, So Good...So What! Мастейн и компания потихоньку разлагались, а оборудование разворовывалось. Дэйв решил - пора что-то менять, выгнав соло-гитариста и барабанщика, взял Марти Фридмана на пару с Ником Менза. Мужики принялись за работу.

Эталон треш-металла, на этом пожалуй все. Не смотря на свою скорость альбом не теряет мелодичности, также здесь рыжий понял, что риффы не главное, и Фридман насрал пиздатыми соло. Мастейн здесь раскрывается, как отличный композитор, а в свою очередь Фридман, как велеколепный гитарист (18 соло на каждом треке тому пример).
