Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. "This time we received the coordinates of enemy vehicles marked 'V' in Kyiv region," it added. However, the perpetrators of such frauds are now adopting new methods and technologies to defraud the investors.
