Застывать металлу «можно» только в изложнице, в которую его отливают в конце производственного цикла, а в печи он должен оставаться расплавленным. Если из-за козла оборудование вышло из строя, металлурги говорят, что оно «закозлилось».

🔍 При чем здесь другие животные? Саламандрой или печным медведем нашего «козла» называют англоговорящие металлурги.

📌 Кстати, у горняков есть свой «козел» — так люди этой профессии называют часть неотработанной породы в горизонте, которая требует повторного взрывания.
