Спустя два месяца после победы коммуниста Диссанаяке на президентских выборах в Шри-Ланке, его партия «Национальная народная власть» получила большинство в две трети голосов на парламентских выборах.
Напоминаю, что относительно недавно страна называлась Цейлон, и была доминионом Британии.
После коммунистического восстания в 1971 году, получила независимость в 1972 году и переименовалась в Шри-Ланку, оставаясь в Содружестве наций. Возможно, Это первый случай в истории XXI века, когда коммунистическая партия приходит к власти.

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat. As such, the SC would like to remind investors to always exercise caution when evaluating investment opportunities, especially those promising unrealistically high returns with little or no risk.
