🦐 Сейчас разбираем «Грозовой перевал» Эмили Бронте. Роман я читала в каком-то облегченном усеченном варианте на уроках английского в детстве, и помнила некий совершенно другой «Грозовой перевал». То ли в сокращенной версии все жутко переврано и упрощено (вполне вероятно), то ли память моя шутки со мной играет.
На скрине - первые реакции критиков того времени на «Грозовой перевал». В принципе, когда моя книга выйдет, тоже можете говорить «может автор сыра переел?» так как, скорее всего, on any given day я действительно переела сыра. (В викторианской Англии считалось, что если переесть сыра с плесенью, можно тронуться умом 🧀)

And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform.
