В инновационном плане Якутия развивается стремительно: в 2012 году количество резидентов местного технопарка было всего 12. Сегодня уже 167 инновационных компаний создают продукцию на более чем 2 млрд рублей ежегодно. Многое из инноваций специально для местных.

Например, здесь появились морозостойкие спутниковые ошейники для оленей: ошейник надевают на вожака и с помощью программы отслеживают перемещения табунов и стад. Еще создали экзоскелет для работ с тяжелым оборудованием на холоде – аж до -60°.
