Как рассказала в четверг, 28 ноября 2024 года, на выездном заседании правительства вице-премьер Анжелика Майстер, «старшего населения» в городе на реке Неман на 1,5% больше, чем в усреднённом показателе региона.
«Показатели смертности здесь, по итогам 10 месяцев 2024 года, составили 13,2 на 1000 населения, что на 11% выше, чем в среднем по области», - отметила Майстер, занимающая также должность министра по социальной политике.
Показатель смертности от онкологических заболеваний в Советске тоже оказался выше. Вместе с тем износ зданий и помещений в городской больнице Советска, по выражению зампреда, достиг без малого 100%.
