7 - 8 декабря состоялись очные раунды VIII Конкурса им. В.П. Мозолина, и мы поздравляем всех, кто принял участие в Конкурсе на разных его этапах в этом году!

Мы выражаем большую благодарность всем партнерам Конкурса им. В.П. Мозолина, арбитрам и участникам, которые из года в год делают Конкурс неповторимым и незабываемым! Особую благодарность от лица Организационного комитета Конкурса мы выражаем волонтерам, которые оказали неоценимую помощь в проведении очных раундов и премутов.

Победителями Конкурса в этом году стала команда 201 (Владимир Ярыгин, Иван Куприянов, Максим Гурин, Иван Саенко, Никита Конышев, Екатерина Якименко, Даниил Попов, тренеры Даниил Владимиров и Евгений Неверов).

В финале Конкурса арбитрами выступали Анна Грищенкова, Тимур Сысуев и Роман Макаров.

"The inflation fire was already hot and now with war-driven inflation added to the mix, it will grow even hotter, setting off a scramble by the world’s central banks to pull back their stimulus earlier than expected," Chris Rupkey, chief economist at FWDBONDS, wrote in an email. "A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth." A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
