У 2024. години (у поређењу са претходном годином) дошло је до повећања како укупног путничког промета широм ЕАЕУ (за 7,1%) тако и низа националних показатеља: у 🇰🇿 Казахстану (за 13,8%), 🇧🇾 Белорусији (за 9,1%), 🇷🇺 Русији (за 6,3%) и 🇰🇬 Киргистану (за 5,3%).
Истовремено, у посматраном периоду забележен је раст превоза терета у 🇰🇬 Киргистану (6%), 🇰🇿 Казахстану (2,6%), 🇧🇾 Белорусији (1,5%) и 🇷🇺 Русији (за 0,4%). Укупан раст у Унији износио је 0,6%.

Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. "The argument from Telegram is, 'You should trust us because we tell you that we're trustworthy,'" Maréchal said. "It's really in the eye of the beholder whether that's something you want to buy into."
