Его бабушка – ветеран Второй мировой войны, приехавшая в Латвию в 1955 году в поисках лучшей жизни, мать – преподаватель в университете, а восемнадцатилетняя дочь – художница, студентка престижной Латвийской академии художеств.

Фильм пытается понять, удалось ли этой семье найти свое место в латвийском обществе за 30 лет независимости.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets.
