Также его обвиняют в незаконном присвоении земельного участка и здания стоимостью свыше 2,4 млн рублей.
Омарова отстранили от должности 24 июня, на следующий день после теракта в Дагестане. Одним из нападавших оказался его сын Осман Омаров. В результате атаки погибли 22 человека.
