Огонь охватил плавучую гостиницу, расположенную в городе Сортавала.

Сигнал о пожаре поступил местным спасателям сегодня, 16 ноября, в 6.57 утра. К приезду пожарных огонь уже охватил сооружение.

Кроме того, загорелось маломерное судно с другой стороны гостиницы - его отнесло на другой берег залива.

Судно потушили с пожарного катера. В самой же гостинице начали взрываться газовые баллоны, затрудняющие тушение. Тем не менее, пострадавших в огне не было.
