برخلاف افسانه هایی که پسر دکتر حسابی از پدرش نقل میکند، آلنوش طریان (مادر نجوم ایران)، واقعا با بزرگان میپرید ولی ادعایی نداشت (با دختر ماری کوری تو Lab همکار بود)، واقعا پیشنهاد کرسی استادی سوربن رو رد کرد تا برگرده ایران رصدخونه واقعی تأسیس کنه. تمام اموالش هم خرج اسکان دانشجوها کرد.
