When someone asks me which "#London" building I HATE the most, I instantaneously reply by naming the Shard. Not only is it a horrifically revolting, incomplete pyramid, but it's decimated our skyline to the same level as the entire 'city of London'. When photographers or painters come to London, be they from France or America, they should experience a skyline unlike any other, not a place that looks like a wannabe Dubai. Now, all they'll see is a group of monsters that not only cloud our view but the very soul of London itself.

In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation." Unlike Silicon Valley giants such as Facebook and Twitter, which run very public anti-disinformation programs, Brooking said: "Telegram is famously lax or absent in its content moderation policy." Telegram users are able to send files of any type up to 2GB each and access them from any device, with no limit on cloud storage, which has made downloading files more popular on the platform. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
