В основном торгует овощами и фруктами, по крайней мере это бросается в глаза сразу и повсеместно. По состоянию на 2024 год Dhaka North City Corporation владеет четырьмя рынками в район Kawran Bazar, расположенными примерно на 24 бигхах (1 бигха - 6771 кв.м) земли, состоящими из 1789 постоянных магазинов и павильонов и 180 временных. Ежедневный доход оптового рынка составляет 50 миллионов бангладешских така (420000$).
