В Мелитопольской областной больнице за 2024 год провели около 300 нейрохирургических операций. Это и черепно-мозговые травмы, осколочные ранения, операции при грыжах межпозвонковых дисков, опухоли головного мозга и другие заболевания.
Отделение оснащено современным оборудованием. Здесь принимают пациентов со всей Запорожской области. Помощь оказывают бесплатно по полису обязательного медицинского страхования. Для высокотехнологичной медицинской помощи больных с тяжёлыми случаями отправляют на лечение в федеральные центры.
