Результатом реализации проекта станет полная интеграция производства и логистики. Запуск первого этапа проекта, рассчитанный на выпуск 35 тыс. кабин в год, запланирован на конец июля 2025 года. Срок окончания второго этапа, предусматривающего наращивание выпуска до целевых 60 тыс. кабин в год, запланирован на конец марта 2026.
К5 (КАМАЗ-54901) с кабинами производства Mercedes-Benz - был выведен на рынок в мае 2020 года. В начале 2023 года после выхода из проекта зарубежного партнера стартовало производство грузовиков с локализованными кабинами. По итогам 2024 года среднесуточный выпуск завода достиг значения в 210 штук.
