Dear God, I can’t stop telling You thank You first. I always say thank You because no matter what’s happening in my life, You’ve been so good to me. Thank You for this day and for giving me another breath. Your word in Psalm 136:1 says, Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. For His mercy endures forever. I don’t take it for granted how good You are. In a world full of so much pain and darkness, You are the light and the goodness that knows no bounds. I ask that You would cover me with Your protection and grace as I step into this day. Lead me by Your Spirit and not by my own will. Forgive me of my sins and the mistakes I’ve made. Thank You for another chance and for blessing me with this day. You are so good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. -Lamentations 3:22-23

Dear God, thank You so much for another day. Thank You for being a good Father. You’re not distant or cold, but present and personal. You care about my needs, my struggles, and even my mistakes. Just like Jesus taught in Matthew 6, help me come to You with humility and honesty. Teach me to trust Your will, to rely on You each day, and to forgive like I’ve been forgiven. I know I won’t get everything right, but I’m so grateful that I don’t have to be perfect to be loved by You. Thank You for inviting me into a real relationship, not based on how good I can be, but on Your grace. Help me grow closer to You, not just with my words, but with my heart. Thank You for always listening when I pray and for being close to me, even when I feel weak. Thank You for everything. You’re a good Father, that’s who You are. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. -Matthew 6:9-10
