Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. "There are several million Russians who can lift their head up from propaganda and try to look for other sources, and I'd say that most look for it on Telegram," he said. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp.
