Депутаты собрания Чебаркульского района решили провести публичные слушания по вопросу объединения сельских поселений, входящих в состав района. В результате процесса имеющиеся на территории района десять муниципалитетов объединятся и превратятся в один.
В случае успешного прохождения слушаний Бишкильское, Варламовское, Кундравинское, Непряхинское, Сарафановское, Тимирязевское, Травниковское, Филимоновское и Шахматовское сельские поселения будут упразднены. Будет упразднен и сам Чебаркульский район. Все депутаты этих муниципалитетов сдадут мандаты, а их главы перейдут на работу в администрацию Чебаркульского округа.
