По словам модератора дебатов, приглашение было отправлено, но Санду, кандидат от правящей Партии действия и солидарности (PAS), его не приняла.
Александр Стояногло подчеркнул, что отсутствие представителей власти вызывает вопросы относительно готовности действующего главы государства обсуждать проблемы страны и искать пути решения.
«Я хотел провести конструктивную дискуссию с представителями власти, у меня к ним много вопросов, я был готов ответить на обвинения, выдвинутые Майей Санду в мой адрес», — выразил разочарование Стояногло, покинув теледебаты.

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
