Наукометрическая библиотека в НЦ НИУ ВШЭ

Вчера в Наукометрическом центре ВШЭ состоялось знаковое событие: было положено начало наукометрической библиотеки! Наша подписчица, пожелавшая остаться неизвестной, передала нам в дар Essays of an Information Scientist — собрание сочинений Юджина Гарфилда, на работы которого регулярно ссылаемся в нашей рубрике «История наукометрии». В них собраны публикации, благодаря которым был заложен теоретический фундамент наукометрии, какой мы видим ее сейчас. Кроме того, в одном из томов присутствует факсимильная подпись Гарфилда, невероятно ценная и воодушевляющая.

Мы благодарим анонимную подписчицу и планируем активно работать с сочинениями Юджина Гарфилда!

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. "This time we received the coordinates of enemy vehicles marked 'V' in Kyiv region," it added. "He has to start being more proactive and to find a real solution to this situation, not stay in standby without interfering. It's a very irresponsible position from the owner of Telegram," she said. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change.
