We don’t censor the F word around here…
It’s alarming that there are supposed IFB channels on telegram promoting Left Coast Baptist College & Pensacola “Christian” College graduates and staff. With the internet and social media making it so easy to find uncompromising preachers, it’s sad to see people platforming things from those cesspools.

This channels is dedicated to the old paths of independent fundamentalism and it’s our desire to encourage subscribers to stay in the fight where is the good way and walk therein. Encouraging 25 people to live right and follow the Lord is more rewarding than having 2500 subscribers who like having their ears tickled by hearing the Law of the Lord is irrelevant.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 KJB
11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:
13 but it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
Numbers 32:23 KJV

Stop listening to compromisers that say we don’t need to follow the law. Salvation is free, but serving the Lord will cost you. The OT is 4x longer than the NT.

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV

There are those that will falsely use the above verse to say that tithing is no longer applicable because Paul said “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart”. This doesn’t change what the bare minimum is - 10%. Tithes are different than offerings. You owe the Lord 10% before any offerings. The offerings are different for every individual because that’s between you and the Lord. The tithe is a set amount and owed!

Now we shouldn’t give because it’s required, but because we want to give to the Lord. That doesn’t mean it isn’t required, it just means that shouldn’t be the reason we give. Non tithers take that phrase “of necessity” to mean it’s not necessary…but that implies that it is necessary! If tithing was only OT, why would a NT believer feel that giving was “of necessity”? Because IT IS NECESSARY…but you be a cheerful giver.

Taking the above passage to invalidate tithing is disregarding OT verses about willful giving. OT believers were to give willingly as well. Now that tithe is required and the offerings are between you and the Lord

Exodus 35:21-22
“And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments. And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.”

1 Corinthians 16:2 KJV
“Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.”

Jesus literally addressed this issue specifically. The NT emphasizes the motives and spirit in which the law is performed. Doesn’t mean you get to choose the laws you want to follow based on your attitude, it means you better not only follow the law, but you better do it with a good attitude!

The Pharisee loved to preach law but had a terrible spirit and motives. Jesus specifically says you better heed the words they’re preaching from the law…but fix your spirit and your actions!

Matthew 23:1-3

“Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: all therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.”

Follow the commandments of God that it be well with you. Follow the Law to show that you love Jesus. Hold others to standards that it should lead them to understand they are sinners in need of redemption. Advocate for the law because it is good, when used lawfully, to punish evildoers.

Romans 7:12
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Tithe. Go to church. Stay sober and vigilant. Win souls. Edify the brethren. Don't lie. Don't steal. Don't lust in your heart or fornicate with your members. Don't cheat each other. Look after one another and place the brethren's profit above yours.

This shouldn't be controversial.
If you’re obeying the law to be seen of men, you’re a lousy believer. If you’re disregarding the commandments of the Lord, you’re a disobedient believer. Imagine reading verses about the Lords punishment, but denying the Lord gave us a standard by which we are judged. It’s illogical and unbiblical! Pro tip: if you love the Lord, it’s pretty easy.

Matthew 6:1
“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.”

Hebrews 12:8
“But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then ar ye bastards, and not sons.”

1 John 5:3
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
“There is no English in the world equal to that found in the 1611 Bible. The revisers knew more Greek, and less English. Whether the original text was inspired or not, I have never felt any doubt as to the divine inspiration of the version of 1611.” ~ Yale Professor of English Literature, William Lyon Phelps, 1919

Law haters like to say the law was written for the Jews and not for saved believers (ironically pretty much the only time they acknowledge the distinction). And they’re correct but salvation was also given to the Jews, but they rejected salvation so it came to the gentiles. While practicing Jews think they’re abiding by law, they’re actually missing the entire point.

Christ eliminated the priestly ordinances (nailing them to His cross) because He became the ultimate sacrifice and High Priest! So we have direct access to Christ now. And how do we show our love and appreciation?! By keeping His commandments! So if one is going to claim the law is only for Jews…then one must also say salvation is only for Jews. And only Jews say that! 🤣

John 4:22
“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.”

Romans 11:11
“I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.”

How do law haters read 2 Tim 3:16 and reject the majority of Scripture? What are we reproved by? What are we corrected by? What are we instructed by? How can we be righteous without an instruction manual on how to strive for it?

Oh right, we just read the first two words of the verse.

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
One nation under God?
I trow not.
