В ходе беседы были затронуты актуальные вопросы взаимодействия МИД России и региональных органов власти в интересах расширения международных и внешнеэкономических связей Республики Калмыкия. Обсуждались аспекты планируемого к проведению в 2025 году в Элисте III Международного буддийского форума.
С.В.Лавров подчеркнул, что внешнеполитическое ведомство будет и впредь оказывать необходимое содействие региону в развитии разнопланового сотрудничества с зарубежными партнёрами.
