3 декабря по случаю празднования в России Дня Неизвестного Солдата коллектив Генконсульства возложил венок и цветы к памятнику советским воинам на территории Шэньянского мемориального комплекса.

Памятная дата отмечается в России с 2014 года. В этот день – 3 декабря 1966 года – в ознаменование 25-й годовщины разгрома немецко-фашистских войск под Москвой прах неизвестного солдата был перенесен и торжественно захоронен у стен Московского Кремля в Александровском саду. Позднее, 8 мая 1967 года, на месте захоронения был открыт мемориальный архитектурный ансамбль «Могила Неизвестного Солдата».
