Мелодии мэтра покорили миллионы сердец и стали символом эпохи. На концерте прозвучали произведения молодых авторов и знаковые композиции Артемьева из полюбившихся фильмов: «Раба любви», «ТАСС уполномочен заявить», «Свой среди чужих, чужой среди своих».
В ходе мероприятия с приветственным словом выступил композитор и сын Эдуарда Артемьева Артемий. В свою очередь внучка маэстро Екатерина Артемьева исполнила совместно с оркестром несколько композиций, в частности, «Вокализ» и песню «Девочка и дельфин».
