В рамках подготовки к матчу квалификации чемпионата мира по баскетболу сборная Армении провела встречу с БК «VSA» из Грузии, где Данил Геворкян оформил 13 очков, 2 подбора, 2 перехвата и 1 передачу. Встреча завершилась со счетом 80:75 в пользу БК «VSA».
24 ноября в официальном матче сборная Армении сыграет со сборной Австрии в квалификации чемпионата мира. 24-летний воспитанник российской школы баскетбола из Свердловской области (город Полевской) Данил Геворкян выступает в составе ереванского «Урарту».
