Якутское Яблоко категорически против этой инициативы. Отмена выборов снизит конкуренцию и качество управления, назначенный мэр будет ориентироваться на вышестоящих чиновников, утратит зависимость от избирателей, а значит, и ответственность перед жителями. Решения начнут приниматься без учета местных проблем, особенностей и потребностей.
Мы уверены, что противников отмены выборов много, и наш голос должен быть услышан властями. Именно поэтому сегодня мы подали уведомление о проведении митинга против отмены прямых выборов, который запланирован на 24 ноября.
Место и время пока не раскрываем, поскольку в случае отказа митинга есть риск, что полиция, пытаясь устроить «показательные» задержания на указанной площади начнет задерживать случайных прохожих.
