Прошедший год стал одновременно знаковым и трагическим для состава одной из ведущих пилотажных групп России, и одной из немногих в мире, показывающих реальные элементы воздушного боя в рамках своих выступлений.
В основанная в июне 2004 года, эта команда отпраздновала в 2024 году своё 20-ти летие. Однако этот год был омрачён уходом из жизни её основателя, генерала-майора Александра Харчевского, под началом которого Липецкий авиацентр (Государственный центр подготовки авиационного персонала и войсковых испытаний) стал настоящей кузницей кадров для российских ВВС.
Но благодаря богатому наследию и подготовительной базе, созданной Харчевским и его соратниками, “Соколы России” продолжают свой путь, смотря с уверенностью в будущее.
